Good way to go...?

Would you like to witness a loved one flushed down the drain?

Well, within a few weeks time in St Petersberg, Florida, families will have the opportunity to do just that.

Using the 'Resomator' method, the disposal of human remains is reportedly the most environmental friendly way to treat the dearly beloved when he/she departs from the world.

The method is a 3 hour process which consists of the body dissolving into its chemical components- which forms a liquid substance and ash.
The ash is returned to the family whereas the liquid is 'recycled' back into the 'eco-system.' This, as reported by a British biochemist, could result in the chemicals being flushed down the drain.

But it's not just America that are interested in such an unusual method. The Cremation Society of Great Britain have reportedly ordered their own machine, and will be expected to gain approval by the end of the year.

This method also proves cheaper than a burial and is seen as the 'third alternative' in the funeral business.

However, is sending a loved one down the drain the best way to go, or just plain un-ethical?

Being green IS the best way to be seen, but is this step one too far?
